These Terms of Use apply when you access or use My Micro Lifestyle and the free Brain Dump app.

My Micro Lifestyle is operated by Stacey Connolly, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

By using My Micro Lifestyle, you agree to these Terms.

1. About My Micro Lifestyle

My Micro Lifestyle provides simple digital tools designed to help you organise thoughts, tasks and everyday life.

The Brain Dump is currently provided free of charge.

We may introduce additional tools, modules, features or paid products in the future. Where separate terms apply to a paid product or service, these will be made available before you purchase it.

2. Using the Brain Dump

You may use the Brain Dump for your own personal, lawful use.

You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into the app and for how you use the lists, categories and other information it produces.

You must not:

• use the app for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
• attempt to interfere with, damage or disrupt the app or its infrastructure;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app, its systems or services;
• copy, reproduce or distribute substantial parts of the app or its design without permission; or
• use automated methods to misuse or place unreasonable demands on the service.

3. Your Brain Dump content

The thoughts and tasks you enter into the Brain Dump are stored locally on your device.

My Micro Lifestyle does not receive, read or store the thoughts and tasks you enter into the Brain Dump.

Because this information is stored locally, you are responsible for maintaining access to your device and browser data.

Clearing browser/site data, removing the installed app or certain device/browser actions may result in your locally stored Brain Dump information being lost.

We cannot recover Brain Dump content that only existed on your device.

4. Accounts and access

The Brain Dump currently does not require you to create a user account or password.

We may change how access works in the future as My Micro Lifestyle develops.

If account functionality is introduced, additional terms or requirements may apply.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep My Micro Lifestyle available and working correctly, but we cannot promise that the app will always be available without interruption or technical problems.

We may occasionally need to:

• maintain or update the app;
• fix technical problems;
• change or remove features;
• introduce new features; or
• suspend parts of the service.

Where practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption.

We may also change or discontinue the free Brain Dump in the future. We will aim to give reasonable notice where appropriate.

6. Information and professional advice

My Micro Lifestyle is an organisational and lifestyle tool.

It does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Any prompts, categories, suggestions or organisational tools within the app are provided to help you organise your own thoughts and decisions.

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on your circumstances.

Where you need professional advice, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

My Micro Lifestyle, including its branding, original design, written content, software, graphics and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to My Micro Lifestyle unless stated otherwise.

Using the app does not transfer ownership of this intellectual property to you.

You may use the app for your own personal use.

You may not reproduce, sell, license, redistribute or commercially exploit My Micro Lifestyle or substantial parts of its content, software or design without prior permission.

Your own thoughts and information entered into the Brain Dump remain yours.

8. Third-party services

My Micro Lifestyle uses third-party providers to operate parts of the service, including hosting and email/contact management services.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that you choose to access separately through external links.

Where third-party providers process personal information on our behalf, this is explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have under UK consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, My Micro Lifestyle is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or for information lost solely because locally stored browser or device data has been deleted, cleared or made inaccessible.

The Brain Dump is provided as a tool to help you organise your own information. We do not guarantee that using it will achieve any particular personal, organisational, financial or other outcome.

10. Ending your use of the app

You can stop using My Micro Lifestyle at any time.

Because Brain Dump content is stored locally, you can remove locally stored information by clearing the relevant website/app data from your browser or device.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails is separate from using the Brain Dump. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our marketing emails.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as My Micro Lifestyle develops, including when we introduce new functionality or paid products.

The latest version will be published on My Micro Lifestyle with the updated date shown at the top.

If a change materially affects how an existing paid service is provided, we will handle that change in accordance with applicable consumer law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the laws that apply where you live.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you.
